Is there a result you desire?

Maybe it’s weight loss, maybe it’s to overcome and injury or just play with your kids or your grand kids, maybe it’s to get off your blood pressure medication. Whatever the goal is, what I’m going to talk about applies.

Have you or someone you know gone to extreme measures to lose weight – diet pills, starvation diets, Atkins, HCG injections, etc – the chances are VERY small that they were successful long term. I’m going to tell you why…

They were reaching for a result while ignoring the process.

To be successful with long term goals, whether it’s weight loss, overcoming injuries, nutrition, – literally anything – you have to learn to embrace the process.

It’s not one action that gets you to lose 40 pounds.  It’s the culmination of the actions you make every day – the PROCESS – that gets you to the RESULT, not the other way around.

So if you ever find yourself giving up with progress toward a desired outcome, be sure to stop and ask yourself – “are the actions I’m practicing going to lead to the results I desire?”

The answer should be pretty crystal clear.

And if the answer is “no”, what are you willing to change to make the answer “yes”?

I fully acknowledge that changing habits are HARD!  I don’t suggest overhauling your entire life all at once, be conscious of the choices and actions you’re making each day knowing that each choice brings you closer to your goal or further from it.

Neutral choices don’t exist.

That is why we are called My Path Wellness, it is your path, your choices are unique to you. Figuring out what makes you tick, will help to get you results faster. Reach out to us for a FREE trial.

What choices do you continuously find yourself making in your daily life? What kind of commitment can you make to help bring you closer to your goal?
